GAGE GARBY : CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, CO-FOUNDER

Mr. Garby has over 25 years of experience developing products, and building and maintaining technology solutions for the healthcare industry. As a co-founder of Axion Health, formerly Occupational HealthLink, he leads the technical team that built the current Axion Health database services. He managed the development the United States Department of Energy / Oak Ridge Associated Universities Cloud-based medical monitoring services for the National Supplemental Surveillance Program, including development of electronic smart form intelligent systems architecture, medical forms data capture and data warehousing. Previously, Mr. Garby oversaw the Industrial Outreach Program at National Jewish Medical and Research Center. Mr. Garby also founded eTrinsic, an Internet-based, medical procedure and equipment training company, and founded and sold Senetics, Inc., a pharmaceutical device and packaging firm. Mr. Garby has a Master's in International Business Management from the American Graduate School of International Management.

 

 

 

 

LORI KITTLE : VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES ENGINEERING/MARKETING, CO-FOUNDER

 

 

Lori has over 15 years’ experience developing efficiencies in Employee and Occupational Health industry operations. As a co-founder of Axion Health, she currently leads marketing and sales engineering. She has extensive knowledge of Axion Health’s premier software, ReadySet and is actively involved in company operations to ensure ReadySet product success and customer satisfaction.

 

 

 

TROY MANCHESTER, MD : CHIEF MEDICAL INFORMATICS OFFICER


With over 20 years of experience in the Employee Health and Occupational Medicine industry, Dr. Manchester focuses the ReadySet product development on features and functions to improve medical compliance, drive efficiency, streamline user adoption and enhanced enterprise communication through the application of innovative technologies and medical workflow design.

 

 

 

CHRIS MCCLAVE : CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

 

Chris has over 18 years of experience in Product Management and IT. As CTO at Axion Health, Chris works at an executive level to envision, define and execute from business case development to customer delivery all Axion Health’s products and services. Chris served as Chief Technology Officer/VP of Product Management for ClickBank and has held roles in Product Management leadership and Software Engineering. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.

 

 

ADRIAN OZGA : EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

 

Adrian has 25 years’ sales experience in the healthcare field. He views all clients as partners, which his many accounts – past and present - will attest with a smile. He has been the top sales performer for all the companies he has served, by focusing on the customer and their needs. He has earned expansive knowledge and experience in software solutions for healthcare organizations and other verticals, to help his clients grow efficiently and intelligently. Adrian believes in software solutions to better the patient, physician and overall process flow of information throughout a healthcare enterprise. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Benedictine University.

Michael has over 25 years of software product development experience that includes 10 years developing enterprise Electronic Health Records and other clinical healthcare applications. Michael currently oversees technical services and product development. His drive is to build a world class engineering organization to consistently deliver the best value and quality to the customer.

 

 

 

LEE S. NEWMAN, MD, MA, FCCP, FACOEM : CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD & CO-FOUNDER

 

Director of the CDC/NIOSH-funded High Plains Intermountain Chapter for Agricultural Health and Safety “My career goal is to improve worker health and safety. It is at the heart of everything I do in my jobs both at Axion Health and as a professor at the University of Colorado. Outside of work, I’m motivated by my wife and two daughters, who inspire me daily.”

 

Dr. Newman is one of the nation's leading experts in the fields of occupational and environmental medicine and pulmonary medicine.

 

He is the Professor of Environmental & Occupational Health and Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health and Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado at Denver/Health Sciences Center.

 

He is the former Head of the Division of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at National Jewish Medical and Research Center. And, Dr. Newman is the Founding Director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Education and Research Center (ERC) that trains occupational and environmental health professionals.

 

Dr. Newman co-founded Axion Health to simplify data-entry tasks and establish prevention strategies executed through advanced technology. He leads the Axion Health Medical Advisory Board and full-time medical content team. Axion Health is the only company in the field of workforce health management software that maintains a medical review board of nationally recognized knowledge leaders.

 

In addition to his role at Axion Health, Dr. Newman conducts research and teaches medical students, graduate students, post-doctoral trainees, and is a popular lecturer and visiting Professor at major international university medical schools.

 

He has published more than 200 scientific papers, chapters, and reviews in the medical literature, including more than 140 research studies as well as invited commentaries and scholarly reviews in Science, The New England Journal of Medicine, and The Lancet.

Dr. Newman has more than 20 years of experience in designing and practically implementing medical surveillance programs in the workplace and in communities where there has been potential exposure to hazardous substances. 
 He has consulted extensively with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and its contractors, has served as an advisor to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and its counterpart in Quebec Province, Canada, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), labor organizations, worker groups, and many large and small corporations.

 

Dr. Newman's work on immune system blood tests for beryllium allergy has revolutionized the approach to the detection of beryllium disease in many industries including defense and nuclear weapons, alloy manufacture, recycling, aeronautics, metal machining, construction trades, and dental laboratories.

 

He refined and helped validate the beryllium lymphocyte proliferation test as a practical tool for screening for beryllium sensitization and has helped influence new federal regulations and public policy in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, Dr. Newman has conducted clinical research regarding asbestos, silica, mold, metals, toxic chemicals, and the causes of work-related asthma.

 

Dr. Newman is a graduate of Amherst College (BA), Cornell University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (MA, Social Psychology), Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (MD), Emory University School of Medicine (Internal Medicine), and University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (Fellowship, Pulmonary Science and Critical Care Medicine).
